Robert Traill (1642-1716) was a Scottish Covenanter, a Presbyterian, and a theologian. He fled Scotland and ministered in Holland and London, before returning to Scotland and being imprisoned for three months.
He is best known for this short work, the full title of which is "A Vindication of the Protestant Doctrine Concerning Justification, and of Its Preachers and Professors, from the Unjust Charge of Antinomianism."
