The Sermons of Thomas Brooks: A Collection of Over 650 of his Sermons
Thomas Brooks was born in 1608 in England and attended Cambridge in 1625. In 1640 he was licensed to be a preacher, and did so as a chaplain in the navy. When the First English Civil War concluded, he settled as a Puritan minister in London. His sermons were revered and he was chosen to preach before the House of Commons in 1648. In 1662 the Act of Uniformity repressed his preaching to some degree, but he continued to give sermons as the opportunity arose.

C. H. Spurgeon wrote of this great preacher: Brooks scatters stars with both hands, with an eagle eye of faith as well as the eagle eye of imagination.

In this eBook, over 650 of his sermons have been collected.
