When Jesus Christ sent messages to seven first-century churches, they were timely and accurate. But 2,000 years later, in the twenty-first century, those messages can help us and our churches as well. Their primary meaning can have personal application for our lives. But those seven letters also have an uncanny prophetic significance. Viewed in hindsight, the seven letters seem to chart the historical unfolding of the Christian Church from then until now. This study guide, The Seven Letters of Revelation, focuses primarily on Christ’s commendations and criticisms of the seven churches in Asia Minor.
