Avant que d'entrer en mati�re il est capital que le lecteur ait la patience d'examiner la peinture que nous allons lui faire de ce parti qui parle d'un ton si hautain, et qui veut faire taire les �v�ques. C'est sur cette peinture qu'on doit juger de notre controverse. Ce parti est compos� de deux sortes de th�ologiens. Le grand nombre d'entre eux signe le formulaire. Le petit qui ne le signe pas, est r�duit � sept ou huit hommes sans nom et r�fugi�s en Hol lande, pour �crire des satires contre l'eglise.
