Young people from Christian homes are too often being trained for the world instead of for the Savior; for hell instead of heaven. Ask the average Christian parents today, “For what are you training your children?” Most of them will answer, “For a good job,” or “For financial independence,” or “For the ability to support a family.” The wording may be different but the answers are essentially the same. How many parents hold the work of the Lord before their children as a desirable way in such to spend their lives? We have become basically worldly in outlook and consequently we are bringing forth children for the destroyer.
