Webster Bible 1833 (Annotated): Textus Receptus Bibles (Historical Series)
This is the eight Bible in the Textus Receptus Bibles - Historical Series. While Noah Webster, just a few years after producing his famous Dictionary of the American English Language, produced his own modern translation of the English Bible in 1833; the public remained too loyal to the King James Version for Webster’s version to have much impact at the time. It is only today that this magnificent update is appreciated for its true worth. When Noah Webster made this update, his intention was to make the punctuation and grammar suitable for education in schools and the more genteel members of the American society of the day.
