John Piper awakens you to the highest, best, final, and decisive good of the gospel, without which no other gifts would be good.
Some people say forgiveness makes the gospel good news. Others suggest that being saved from hell or gaining freedom from a guilty conscience makes it good news. But the Bible tells us the gospel is good news not because of its many peripheral blessings, but because it brings us to God-and to utter delight in him as our all-sufficient and everlasting treasure.
This study guide--a companion to the God Is the Gospel DVD--dynamically explores the ultimate good of the good news in eight sessions that feature the teaching of Pastor John Piper. This full-length guide will prepare your group members for Piper's powerful DVD lessons and supplement his book God Is the Gospel.
Each study guide comes complete with Scripture and key quotations for reflection, penetrating questions, and five daily assignments per week. Along with the DVD, it is an ideal package for leading your class, small group, church, or family to embrace God as the gospel in every area of their lives.
