“This is an overwhelming truth. People will judge God by us, His earthly representatives, especially those of us in the ministry. If we are holy, righteous, and compassionate, then our lives give good testimony of our God. But if we who bear His name before the world are unclean, lazy, greedy, immature, selfish, and carnal, we bring reproach to the Lord. So He must judge us, often publicly. Then everyone will know that He is holy and that He will not tolerate evil—especially among those who approach Him, those with whom He is intimate.”
