Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh. § The bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. § If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world. § My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.The children of Israel … gathered, some more, some less … He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack … They gathered it every morning, every man according to his need.Therefore do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” … Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
