As we continue in our "Faith on Trial" series, we look today at the need for righteousness as a requirement for loving God and loving people.

In this concluding message from the Gospel of Luke Series, "certainty in the Gospel,"  Pastor George explains Christ tells us we have been changed and made witnesses of the Gospel. This is who we are... therefore, it is what we do. His Great Commission is based on His presence in us in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Most of the time, the first question asked when we study prophecy is, "When will these things happen?" The Bible, however, has a much different agenda. Jesus points us in the right direction as He prophesies about the days to come. He says, "Watch yourselves... Stay awake, as you pray."

When we talk about the Passion of Christ, we talk of His suffering. His passion, however, extends far beyond that momentary ordeal. God loves us with an everlasting love and His heart is FOR us! He wants us to know Him and enjoy Him forever. When men reject Christ, it breaks His heart.

Repentance requires us to change our minds. It does NOT mean, "Change your life, so God will accept you." Instead, it means we align our minds with the things of God and admit and confess sin, and think of Him: His glory, righteousness, holiness, and salvation in Jesus Christ. 
 
Our world is living with a mental health crisis and the Bible teaches that the greatest battle is in our minds. Today, the pastor will share one of the most important principles for fighting an effective war against Satan's attacks on our minds.
