John 6:43-51 
 
Jesus answered them, “Don’t murmur among yourselves. 
No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, 
and I will raise him up in the last day. 
It is written in the prophets, ‘They will all be taught by God.’ 
Therefore everyone who hears from the Father and has learned, comes to me. 
Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from God. 
He has seen the Father. 
Most certainly, I tell you, he who believes in me has eternal life. 
I am the bread of life. 
Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died. 
This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, 
that anyone may eat of it and not die. 
I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. 
If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. 
Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

Oh magnify Yahweh with me. 
Let’s exalt his name together. 
I sought Yahweh,

and delivered me from all my fears. 
They looked to him, 
and were radiant. 
Their faces shall never be covered with shame. 
This poor man cried, 
and Yahweh heard him, 
and saved him out of all his troubles. 
Yahweh’s angel encamps around those who fear him, 
and delivers them. 
Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good. 
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

Psalm 27:7-14 
Hear, Yahweh, when I cry with my voice.

Don’t put your servant away in anger. 
You have been my help. 
Don’t abandon me, 
neither forsake me, 
God of my salvation. 
When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. 
Teach me your way, Yahweh. 
Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies. 
Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, 
for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty. 
I am still confident of this: 
I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living. 
Wait for Yahweh. 
Be strong, and let your heart take courage. 
Yes, wait for Yahweh.
