On this Memorial Day we are called to remember the life sacrifices of those who have gone before us.  It is at this time we remember the One who gave His life for us.  What is that legacy?  How are we to remember the legacy of Jesus Christ?  Listen to what the Bible says about remembering the legacy Jesus left for us.

May 30, 2021  "Remembering A Legacy"  Hebrews 10:11-12, 19-25

As we anticipate the celebration of our American independence, let us all realize that God brings out the best in those who truly follow Him.  Praise the Lord for all of those who preceded us, and all those who stand beside us revealing the very character of God.  The  character of God is refined in "the furnace of affliction".  It is what has made us great, and what will make us great in our future.  Salvation through Jesus Christ makes that "new creation" possible.  Do you know Him?  Do you trust Him?  Make Jesus the Lord of your life today.

July 1, 2020   "The Furnace of Affliction"  Romans 5:3-5

God calls us to follow Him, even as He called Jeremiah the prophet to follow and obey the Lord.  Sometimes, we, like Jeremiah can be discouraged while following the Lord.  What did Jeremiah do in his apparent despair?  How do you handle depression and despair?  Listen to what the Bible says when you get discouraged in well-doing.

Feb 26 2020    "Praying in Despair"   Jeremiah 20: 13-18

In this series on Decluttering- getting rid of the chaos and anything else that gets in the way of your relationship with Christ, we are dealing with relationships.  In the story of Jesus in the home of Simon the Pharisee, there are 3 characters demonstrating human relationships and how to handle them.  Listen to see how Jesus and the other two characters related to one another.

Jan 19 2020  "Declutter Your Relationships"  Luke 7:33-50

When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, He was the gift of God to all mankind.  Christmas is not Christmas except that it is the story of Jesus.  Christmas is not Christmas except that God's precious gift brings joy.  Do you have joy that supersedes happiness and circumstances?  Do you really have the joy which is founded in the Presence and Promise of God?  Do you have joy that you can now enjoy?  Listen to what the Bible says about joy.

Dec 15  "Joy to the World"  Luke 2: 10-11

One of the big questions of life is, "If there is a God, what does He want from me?"  Listen to what the prophet Micah reveals from the word of the Lord.  You might be surprised to hear what God wants of you when you are a child of God.

Nov 6  "What Does God Require?"   Micah 6:2-8

"Our daily bread" has through the ages meant for us, "all that we really need".  In the message we look at bread in two forms:  One with the yeast (or leaven); the other without the yeast (or unleavened bread).  Listen to discover the meaning of "unleavened bread" for the Israelites, for Jesus, for Jesus' disciples, and for His church.

We learn from real experiences through the stories of the biblical characters.  Isaac and Rebekah had 2 sons- twins-  who could not have been more different from each other.  What can we learn from this family which will become the forefathers of nations?

The Bible states that for God's children and His own glory, God uses everything, even the leftovers, to accomplish His will.  You may consider yourself to be insignificant, or what you have to give as inadequate, but what is freely given into the creative hands of God, will always be used both significantly and adequately.  Listen to how Jesus uses the small to accomplish the large will of the Father.
