Ecclesiastes 12:11 The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd. 
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. 
Managing relationships can be a juggling match. How much time do you give to your kids vs your spouse, or your spouse vs your kids, or your kids and spouse vs you, or your kids, spouse, and you vs God. How do you maintenance a healthy Godly relationship that keeps you tied into these all-important people in your life. 
Imagine Abraham whose family God chose to redeem creation back to Himself, quite the juggling act when it comes to dividing time. Yet, with all Abraham had going on he seems to have had time for a very close, intimate, trusting, and faithful relationship with God. 
We are reminded by Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:20, You are not your own; you were bought at a price. But the One who paid the price is also the One who gives us wisdom. Tune in, you want to hear this...............

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10, What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing NEW under the Sun. Is there anything of which one can say, “Look! This is something new”? It was here already, long ago: it was here before our time. 
 
 As King Solomon began his life journey, discovering, nothing that was new to him was new in this world. HISTORY continues to repeat itself. “What is wrong with wanting to be the Greatest of All ? – the GOAT. We are always competing with others, always looking for NEW, never been done before. 
God’s people need to stop looking and start praying more. 
There is nothing NEW, “What is man continuing to search for when God has all the answers to LIFE. There is no other Wisdom greater than God’s freely given Wisdom. Do not get impatient. In due time you are going to reap a generous harvest. God knows you are fighting the good fight of faith. The Lord will renew your strength, you will mount up with wings as eagles, you will run and not grow weary, you will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). 
Today we are living in a winepress that seems to close in on all sides even from top to bottom, a winepress symbolizes judgment, and can also symbolize a blessing. He has already ready paid the price for our sins, there is no longer a need to live in despair, no need to live in fear of your past, but with a bright future ahead of you. You have waited for the proper time, well the proper time is now.

Psalm 78:23-24 (kj) Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven, and had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven. 
Revelation 2:17b (kj) To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. 
If one were to read through the textual description on how Jesus describes His relationship with the church of Pergamum along with the other six, and the reasons why He said what he said concerning them, we would learn 1. What Jesus loves and values as well as what He hates and condemns. 2. Jesus makes a clear statement concerning the consequences of disobedience and spiritual neglect. But Jesus also indicates his reward for spiritual alertness, diligence, and faithfulness to Christ. 3. Through the textual conversation of the 7 churches, we receive a standard by which any church or individual may judge their true spiritual condition in relation to God. 4. We are given an example of Satan’s methods for attacking and working against the church or individual Christian. 
 What must you do? Jesus laid it out in His message to Pergamum. Overcome through obedience to God

Psalm 78: 23-24 Yet he gave a command to the skies above and opened the doors of the heavens; he rained down manna for the people to eat, he gave them the grain of heaven. 
Revelation 2:17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. 
 
The second bread from heaven is not like the first. 
Revelation 2:17 refers to a different type of bread as Jesus speaks to the church of Pergamum. Remember what Jesus said to the disciples in John 4:32 “I have food to eat that you know nothing about”. 
 
This bread is not physical bread but Spiritual bread, the “hidden manna” “you know not of”. It is not given during the struggles of life as we see in the church of Pergamum but as a result of being victorious in the end. Jesus said to them “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work” (John 4:34). The road that leads to sin is disobedience, this bread is not for them, this bread is for those who have kept to God's word, fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept to the faith. And now (2 Timothy 4:8) Henceforth (from this time forward) there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give to me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing. My question to you is; will you meet the qualifications?

Luke 2:30-31 For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all nations. 
Imagine waking up and realizing you are adrift in the sea, you look all round, there is nothing but you and water as far as the eye can see. No land, no birds, not even a cloud in the sky. You have but one hope of staying afloat; it is a life vest floating in front of you. There is a name on it: “salvation”. You reach out and grab hold to it because it is the only hope you have of staying afloat. As soon as you grab hold of it everything around you changes, the scenery changes, land is in sight, birds are flying overhead singing a cadence, blue skies with billowing cloud’s drift by, there is “Hope of being saved”. 
That must be what Simeon experienced in v.28 of Luke chapter 2 when Simeon took the baby Jesus in his arms and praised God saying “Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you may now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared in the sight of all nations”.

Yet when Jesus said to him: The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. How can this be? Nicodemus asked. John 3:8-9. 
 
I believe this man with wealth, education, prosperity and social and political standing realized he was missing something he is in need of. The Holy Spirit.

There are two distinctive characteristics of our defeat in the garden of Eden that resulted in our life struggles struggles. They occurred immediately when Adam and Eve sinned (Genesis 3:6) and ate of the fruit from the "Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil" (Genesis2:7). There and at that time immediately was caused a breach in the relationship between Adam and Eve and God, that breach continues to cause and affect our lives today.
