I. In His Salvation. A. A free gift of God. Isaiah 55:1-2 (KJV) Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. B. God in Flesh. Sufficient Grace. 2 Corinthians 12:6-10. 
I. Seeking Grace. V:6 A. God does the seeking. Psalm 32:3-4 (KJV) When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. Psalm 119:176 (KJV) I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments. B. He initiates it. Ezekiel 34:16 (KJV) I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. C. That is the reason Jesus Came. Luke 19:10 (KJV) For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 4:18-19 (KJV) Read. 
 
II. Saving Grace. A. The only way God can save. Ephesians 2:8-9. B. Because we are undeserving. IV. Striving Grace. A. Through temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. B. Through trial. 1 Peter 4:12-13 (KJV) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. James 1:2-3 (KJV) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 
 
V. Serving Grace. A. He quickens. Romans 8:11 (KJV) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. B. He empowers. Acts 4:29-31 Read. C. He enables. 1 Corinthians 15:9-11;58.

I. They almost understood. V:4 A. They were enlightened. (Instructed with a clear view). 1 John 1:3-5 (KJV) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. B. They tasted. (As if to savor, not enough to satisfy hunger) Experienced it but did not ingest it. John 6:55-58 (KJV) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. Acts 28:27-28 (KJV) Read. C. II. They are almost convinced. V:5 A. That they are lost. Luke 18:10-12 (KJV) Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. B. To turn to Jesus. Acts 26:28-29 (KJV) Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds. 
 
III. They are absolutely condemned.V:6-8 A. They crucified Him anew. 2 Peter 2:20-22 (KJV) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. B. They have witnessed the blessings of God. Matthew 5:45 (KJV) That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. C. They are deceived. IV. They are assuredly not a child of God. A. They only partake, they do not possess. John John 1:11-12 (KJV) He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
