Anna's prophecy recognizes Jesus as the answer to her people's deepest longings, even though what He will in fact deliver is very different than what they expect or are even asking for. Jesus has dealt with sin and offers forgiveness. His resurrection assures us that God's total remaking of the world is in tow.
