Before the Lord Jesus ascended into Heaven, He appointed every believer to fulfill the “Great Commission"

”All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:19-20).

For many practicing Christians, this calling is often referred to as the “Great Omission.” Jesus expects all believers to be in His employ… never intending that they should be idle or live for themselves. To fulfill this calling, Jesus directs, supports and empowers us to accomplish His tasks, holding us accountable for our time and talents. So, the question each of us must ask is: Have we answered the call?”
