Jesus and Paul both say to believe and you will have eternal life. It is not to be doubted that good works will naturally flow from the born again believer. Yet these works are not a requirement to be justified by faith. Faith is a gift of God. It is believing in Christ and His gospel. It is not the act of believing that savs but the object of that faith. Also, if you will listen further in the video this is taken from you will hear him talking about working out the faith in you. This is not the Protestant doctrine of justification by grace through faith as taught in the Holy Bible. No, it is Rome's doctrine. Justification is outside of us. God declares us righteous because of what Christ has done. He sees our sins no more. Yet, Dr. Stephen Manley calls this glorious truth the great cover up.
