The New World Translation has David say "Jehovah is my Shepherd" in the 23rd Psalm. Yet Jesus Himself says He is the "Fine" or Good Shepherd in the Gospel of John chapter 10. Could it be Jesus IS Jehovah the Fine Shepherd?

If God merely permits things to happen, who or what is the cause of them? Are they outside of His control? Is He is passively allowing these things to things to run by themselves? Perhaps He has left the universe on auto-pilot? Is this not Deism? Is this really the way the sovereign Lord God of the Bible operates? 
 
Perhaps one might say God only controls the big or major events in history. Yet how can this be? How many times have the major events depended on the little events? There is nothing outside of his knowledge or control for not even a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father.

God is indeed the ultimate cause of all things yet man himself is the immediate cause and therefore held accountable. Man sins willingly and freely.

For if we look to the law and our obedience to it for our assurance we are going to be filled with doubts. How many works does it take? We can never be sure if we have done enough to assure ourself. No, our assurance must come from the nail-scarred hand of Jesus who said to come to Him and that He would never cast us out. Faith is belief. Faith alone saves--not the act of believing itself but the object believed, the gospel. The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

James 2:14-20 explained to Lordship Salvationists

Jesus and Paul both say to believe and you will have eternal life. It is not to be doubted that good works will naturally flow from the born again believer. Yet these works are not a requirement to be justified by faith. Faith is a gift of God. It is believing in Christ and His gospel. It is not the act of believing that savs but the object of that faith. Also, if you will listen further in the video this is taken from you will hear him talking about working out the faith in you. This is not the Protestant doctrine of justification by grace through faith as taught in the Holy Bible. No, it is Rome's doctrine. Justification is outside of us. God declares us righteous because of what Christ has done. He sees our sins no more. Yet, Dr. Stephen Manley calls this glorious truth the great cover up.

Jesus said the sure sign the world would have to show them that we were truly His disciples is if we loved one another.Does this mean Calvinists and Arminians have to love one another? Of course. As a matter of fact we are to love those in the cults as well. Are we showing this love in our witnessing? Love shows its true nature in the actions we perform for hey truly do speak much louder than words at times. After all, we are supposed to be sermons in shoes. We may be the only "Bible" someone sees that day. Let our love be the genuine article.
