Hello Church of Philippi CM! We are now in Week 3 of the COVID-19 School Break. 3/31/20 Tuesday's QT passage is Deuteronomy 3:23-29.

In today's QT passage, we see that Moses does not get to go into the Promised Land, and God tells him to go and look at the land, but to not go in. In the video, I said that Moses hit the rock twice instead of once - but that is actually my mistake. CORRECTION: God had commanded Moses to speak to a rock to make water come forth, but Moses hit the rock in his anger toward God's people and disobedience to God. This is the reason why God said that Moses will not enter the Promised Land. But like I mention in the video, I do think that it is still a part of God's goodness that God would keep Moses from leading the conquest and asking Joshua to do it instead.

Bottom line: we need to learn to stop and be still as we trust in God's goodness.
