Straightening Out Divisions | 1 Corinthians 1:10-19

On this Sunday we join with thousands of Churches to teach what the Bible says about sexuality. In a culture that moves further and further away from God's Word, we look to come back to the basis of truth and what God's good and perfect design for us is.

Genesis 1:26-28 - "Biblical Sexuality"

We see some great wisdom shared in Proverbs 30, some of which shows 4 things that are small, but where we can learn some valuable truths from.

Proverbs 30:24-28 - "Small Things"

Jesus explains the Parable of the Soils and we look at its application to us, along with what the Parable of the Wheat and Tares represents.

Matthew 13:18-30, 36-43 - "Parable of the Soils and Wheat & Tares"

We look at the area of the workplace as we continue in the section of walking in harmony. Then we begin a new section of walking victory as we're instructed to put on the whole armor of God and stand. We look at why we must do this and how to do it.

Serving and Standing Strong | Ephesians 6:5-12

We begin our Sermon on the Mount series by looking at the Beatitudes. Jesus here lays out the attitudes we are to have as citizens of His kingdom. It's having this right perspective that leads to our happiness and blessing.

Matthew 5:1-12 - "The Beatitudes"

Ever have people scoff at the idea that the Lord is coming again? Or that He's not involved in the affairs of this world? Well Peter writes to explain that this will happen in the last days. And we need to have an understanding as to why it seems the Lord is delaying His return.

2 Peter 3:1-9 - "The Lord And His Delay"

Peter's desire is to stir up the hearts of his readers by reminding them to continue in the things he's been addressing. We all need regular reminders or else we can quickly neglect and forget the simple truths of our faith. Peter also reveals how this faith is dependable, and we see this through his own experience, but more so, through the more sure Word that has been confirmed!

2 Peter 1:12-21 - "Regular Reminders"

Peter puts things again into perspective regarding suffering for his audience who was going through trials and persecution. And with all that's going on in the world with Covid-19, loss of jobs, difficult new challenges, this comes at the right timing for us as we seek to gain a right perspective on suffering.

1 Peter 3:17-22 - "A Perspective On Suffering"

We're living in surreal times as a virus pandemic has forced churches to meet online. In a similar fashion, Peter is writing to believers who are going through times of suffering and trial, and who have been displaced. And yet, he writes them to share how they should respond in such times. We look at the parallels and what we can learn and apply from their situation to ours.

1 Peter 3:8-16 - "How Are You Responding?"

We're familiar with the regular cast of Christmas, but we often forget about two people that appear in the early days around the birth of Christ - Simeon and Anna. We take a look at who they were, the significance of them, and what can be applied to us.

Luke 2:25-38 - "Background Breakthrough"

You may know John 3:16 by heart, but do you have it in your heart? Have you allowed the truth of it to sink in? It's a great verse that reveals so much to us.

John 3:16-36 - "Salvation Certified"

Paul Johnson shares on his life testimony and experience of how the Lord called Him into ministry.

John 15:16 - "Chosen with Purpose"

Josiah continues on cleaning house in Judah and bringing the people into a renewed covenant with God's Word.
