Today we shall speak about “The New Covenant of Grace: A Holy Ghost Covenant” 
Taken from the Old Testament Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 36, Verses 26 and 27, which read: Verse 26 “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Verse 27 “And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” 
 The new covenant is about grace, as contrasted with the old covenant, which is about law. "For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" (John 1:17). 
 The connection between grace and the Holy Spirit can be seen in various scripture passages on the new covenant, including this glorious prophecy. "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

Let us for just a few moments speak about “The Comprehensive, Freely Giving Plan of God” There are three verses of scripture which we would like to use, for our message;

Let us for just a few moments speak about “The Comprehensive, Freely Giving Plan of God” There are three verses of scripture which we would like to use, for our message;

Freely Giving, Plan Of God Romans 8:32; Ephesians 3:7; Acts 20:24

For a thought, we shall use this topic; “PREVAILING POWER”. And we shall use Chapter 4 and Verse 31 from ‘The Acts of The Apostles’, and our text tells us "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” 
 
 We would like to give a short lesson on titles which people are using to add glamour and appeal to their ministries. 
 
 The term Apostle applies to one whom has actually seen Our Lord Jesus Christ, and there is not one person living today that has seen Christ. God has chosen ‘men’ to stand on Holy Ground to proclaim the Preaching of the Gospel; we are all Disciples (one who learns of Jesus Christ). We are told in I Timothy 2:11 and 12 “Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.” These women of today’s time say that The Church of today has changed, so this gives them the right to stand on Holy Ground (the pulpit area) to “Preach”. These are going totally against The Word of God. Malachi 3:6 Tells Us “For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.” 
 
 Therefore if God does not change, then why do some think that the church has changed one simple answer. People have become so intent on being “Politically Correct” that they have polluted The Word of God.

For a thought, we shall use this topic; “PREVAILING POWER”. As we are about to come to the finish this 4th. of July week-end, most of us are talking about the Bar-B-Q or feast-full celebrations we attended. Some spent hours preparing the food that was provided. Some never took time to thank God for His gifts. Today we shall take just a few moments to speak about “GOD'S BOUNTIFUL PROVISION” Today is The First Sunday, and many Churches are partaking of “The Lord’s Supper” We shall use The Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 14, and Verse 20 for our text, which reads: "And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.” 
 
WHEN GOD is Host, there is enough for all! Probably the disciples at first doled out the supplies with great care, but as they discovered that group after group were provided for, their faith increased, and they became lavish in their distribution. Every appetite could enjoy bread and fish, and there was plenty of it. God's supplies are as great as the demand; no, greater, for He is able to make all grace abound toward each soul of man.

God's Bountiful Provision - Matthew 14:20

God has given each of us Talents. That Talent may be money, good looks, or the ability to do those things which He has set for us. Today we shall speak about “THE ONE-TALENTED MAN”. And we shall use for a Scriptural Text; Matthew 25:24, which reads “Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:” 
 
THE FIVE-TALENTED men or women are the geniuses of the world, successful in everything they touch. The two-talented men or women, on the one hand, are not exposed to the temptations of genius, but are not quite at the minimum. But why did the man with the one talent make such ill use of his gift? Surely, this is a true touch of life! One-talented people can do so little, that they do nothing. They are crushed and enfeebled by a sense of their own insignificance and inferiority. Many start life with high and pure aims, but presently they find their opportunities so meager, their influence so limited, their power so scanty, that after a few struggles they give up in despair

How many time have you been challenged? There is not one of us whom have not had a challenged placed before them. Today we shall speak about “GOD'S CHALLENGE TO MAN”. And for a text we shall use the Old Testament Book of Job, Chapter 38, and Verse 4. Our text Reads: "Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if thou hast understanding." 
 
 IN This mighty chapter, God seems to draw near to the perplexed and stricken soul, who sits brooding over the problems of human life, and points out that mysteries equally insoluble are above his head and under his feet; that he lives and moves amongst them. Man frets and despairs over a mystery forced upon him by sorrow and loss. He cannot interpret it, and is shaken to the heart; but the whole universe teems with mystery. Man cannot explain the creation of the world, the separation of sky and earth, and the reflex influences of the one on the other. Light and darkness, wind and rain, snow and ice, storm and sunshine; the instincts of the animal creation these defy man's absolute understanding. 
 
 But who frets at the inscrutable mystery which enshrouds these natural phenomena! We use all of them, and make them serve our purpose.

God's Challenge To Man - Job 38:4

And Micah 4:2 which reads: "And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” 
 
THERE IS a clear difference between a Way and a Path. The one is filled with the throb and stir of the world's life; the other is comparatively lonely and unfrequented. The roll of vehicles and noisy traffic fills the one, whilst the other is, for the most part, trodden by the individual, being too narrow and quiet for the crowd. It is a great comfort that God has paths as well as ways.

And John reads: "And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.”

We often speak of a young man as "being called to the Ministry"; but it is as fitting to speak of a carpenter being called to the bench, the blacksmith to the forge, and the shoemaker to his last. "Brethren," said the Apostle, "let every man wherein he is called, therein abide with God."

Whether or not the poet is right in his surmise, that "not in utter nakedness or forgetfulness do we come from God, who is our Home," we need not argue.

DEATH IS the precursor of life, and we cannot truly reach Easter unless we first descend into the grave. Blessed are they who descend thither in hope; their soul shall not be left in the land of shadow, nor will God permit His holy ones to see corruption. God will revive them, and they shall live. On the third day our Lord Jesus rose from the dead, and this is the foundation-hope for the world.

20 Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people? 
 
29 So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire; 
 
God will provide for those whom trust in Him.

God's Largesse and Bounty - Psalm 78:19, 20, & 29

As parents we want our children to be obedient to us. When they don’t there is a conflict between us, as parents, and them as our children. God wants the same from us. 
 
Today we shall speak about “OBEDIENCE”, 
 
coming from the Gospel according to John, Chapter Twelve, and Verse 46; which reads “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” 
THE LIGHT of Christ is always distinguishable because it means the deepest impression of what is right, the clearest conviction of the will of God. 
 
Everywhere men are asking how they may come to know Christ, and there is but one answer: believe that He loves you, that He died on the Cross to save you, that He is prompting you by His Spirit to follow every perception and longing for a better and holier life.

As parents we want our children to be obedient to us. When they don’t there is a conflict between us, as parents, and them as our children. God wants the same from us.

Today we shall speak about “OBEDIENCE”,

coming from the Gospel according to John, Chapter Twelve, and Verse 46; which reads “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.”
THE LIGHT of Christ is always distinguishable because it means the deepest impression of what is right, the clearest conviction of the will of God.

Everywhere men are asking how they may come to know Christ, and there is but one answer: believe that He loves you, that He died on the Cross to save you, that He is prompting you by His Spirit to follow every perception and longing for a better and holier life.

Obedience - John 12:46

We have a question for you today. Are your using all your resources? Many are not, but we would like to speak about “GOD'S RESOURCES”. 
 
Taken from the Books of Genesis, Chapter 18, and Verse 14; and also Jeremiah, Chapter 32, and Verse 17. 
 
In Genesis we have “Is any thing too hard for the LORD? And we have Jeremiah saying "Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:” 
 
 The angel reproves the indecent expressions of her distrust, Genesis 18:13 and 14. Though Sarah was now most kindly and generously entertaining these angels, yet, when she did amiss, they reproved her for it, as Christ reproved Martha in her own house,Luke 10:40 and 41. 
 
If our friends be kind to us, we must not therefore be so unkind to them as to suffer sin upon them. God gave this reproof to Sarah by Abraham her husband. To him he said, Why did Sarah laugh? perhaps because he had not told her of the promise which had been given him some time before to this purport, and which, if he had communicated it to her with its ratifications, would have prevented her from being so surprised now.

Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: 
And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master.”

The Providence of The Trifle - Genesis 24:12 - 14

How many of you would like to have more money? If you had the money you wanted, what would you do with it? Would you help others? Would you take care of your financial obligations? Or! Would you tithe? In Paul’s Second letter to the Corinthians, he gives us something to think about. 
 
Paul tells us in Chapter 9, and Verses 7 & 8; " Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” 
 
Let us use this thought for our subject: “THE WISE USE OF MONEY” 
 
WE MUST not look on money as our own, for on every coin you may discern the letters: DG., By the Grace of God. Therefore money is God's gift to us. "Both riches and honor come of Thee. David was right when he said, after his people and he had made a noble gift to God's work: "Of Thine own have we given Thee."

The Apostle Matthew records these words: "Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.” For a subject we shall use this thought: “FIRST, RECONCILIATION” 
THERE IS a marked difference between memory and recollection. 
Memory resembles a great box or chest into which a man casts his letters, accounts, and manuscripts; recollection is the readiness, be it less or more, with which he can lay his hand on what he requires. We know that it is somewhere in our possession, we remember to have seen and turned it over, but search as we may we cannot find or recall it.

FROM THE midst of Heaven there comes to our earth this cry for help, an appeal from the Eternal Trinity: "Who will go for us!" It reminds us of the last commission of our Lord to His disciples, that they should go into all the world, and preach His Gospel to every creature. 
 
The Seraphim may minister to those who have become the heirs of salvation, but only those who have been redeemed from among men have the high privilege of being called to the supreme work of redemption.
