This Wednesday night Bible study in Job 36:20-37 was a very special moment for Job and anyone else who is or has been "defiant" to God  . . . in Job's case Elihu was sent to open Job's eyes and prepare his heart to hear from God directly [that's next weeks study] and for any of us who have been defiant before God this teaching was God's grace through His Word to change our hearts . . . Anyone can hear the word or God but until you understand it there is NO power in it to change our lives.  Ezra was both priest and scribe . . . in other words he was a teacher who distinctly or systematically read the word of God and the people were changed by it.   And all these things were for examples to us . . . .

This Wednesday night Bible study in Nehemiah 6:11-19 shows us that God gave Nehemiah discernment when the enemy tried to intimidate him and because he knew God's word and he was vigilant God gave him victory over his enemies that tried to take him down. Our reward is dependent on what we do with this life the Lord has given us  . . . . for HIS kingdom and HIS glory.

This Wednesday night Bible study in Nehemiah 4:10-15 reveals that when Nehemiah saw the people in fear because of the enemies attempts to discourage them from building the wall . . . . he lead by example and showed them how to put their focus back on the Lord . . . Israel had lost their "first love" for the Lord and were fearful and discouraged.  In the same way when we get discourage and fearful  . . . it is because we have lost focus on our first love . . .  <br />
 We pray this message will encourage you to do the things you did at first . . . You have the power of choice  . . . Nehemiah's message to us is . . . get focused on your "First Love" your relationship with Jesus and get back to building the wall . . . .
