Mark 9:41 Teach Us About Rewards in Heaven?

Those that have come to Jesus to find a reason to arrest claimed to never having been Salves to anyone. It would seem that they had forgotten about Egypt and the 400 years that they had been in slavery there. They seem to have forgotten that they were crying out to be delivered from slavery. But Jesus didn't bring that up but instead He pointed to sin, anyone that sins is a slave to sin. John 8:33-34.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21. What a nugget for us today and always. This is something we need to hang onto and remember as well as practice. We need to submit our ways to God and then listen for His direction. Genesis 28:14- I Will Watch Over You - A Powerful Message from Genesis

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. Psalm 48:14. This really is amazing as not only a nugget, but more importantly as a promise to us from Him! Think about what this means, The one and only true God is our God forever and ever. This God who is our God will guide through everything even onto the end. There will never be a time when we are alone with a guide He is always there. Committing this to memory is something we ought to consider so The Holy Spirit will remind us of this promise from God.

14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. Luke 8:14-15. 
This parable is all about becoming spiritually maturity in Jesus Christ. When we let the thing of this world choke out the tings of the Kingdom of God we will not mature in our walk with Him and we not be able to do the things He has called us to do.

2 Corinthians 4:14 - "We Will Be Raised Up Also!"

So, this man was gathering fire wood on the outside of the camp on a Sabbath. The people caught him and brought him to Moses. Moses inquired of the Lord as to what to do with this man. God said to stone him outside of the camp so, that's what they did. Then they were told by God that they were to tie these tassels (a series of knots) to remind them of the commands of God so they would remember to follow them. The prophecy was given by Moses to Israel saying that God was going to raise up another prophet like Moses and He would come from and God would put His Word in His mouth.
